Enlisted as a Private in Company F. 47th Regiment, Tn. Infantry on March 12 1862 in Humboldt, Tn. by Esquire Allison.
He died July 16 1863 leaving a $1.20 and a silver watch. Death Certificate was signed by Frank Hawthorne, Surgeon in charge of Academy Hospital at Chattanooga Tn.
